part 198:

‘Bismillahir rahmaanir raheem’
(In the name of Allah, the Most kind, The Most Merciful)

10 years later we decided that we were financially stable and were pining for a baby…so alhamdulillah maryam fell pregnant again after a couple of good months of trying….this time shukr she was well throughout her pregnancy…and 9 months later gave brith to abdur Rahmaan..

He was a healthy and normal baby alhamdulillah but could never fill the void of ismaa’il….

But we loved him nevertheless and were once again happy to hear a baby wailing in the house…

The barakah that we found after abdur rahmaan was born was amazing….only then did we realise that every child brings a different amount of barakah in the home…

Islamicly we should never think that a child will cause more poverty and this is something that sheikh should have advised us with ismaa’il instead of making provisions for us to give him away….if only we knew that sheikh had ulterior motives behind everything…

Maryam and I always thought of how much of barakah we would have had, had we kept ismaa’il in our home…but we were still knew to islam and ignorant to these important factors and sheikh took advantage of this…

Sheikh and his wife were divorced not long after ismaa’il was given away…she realised that he had been dealing wrongly and was tight in the grip of shaytaan…she felt like there would never be barakah in their home since sheikhs income was tainted and acquired through haraam means….

Ths is just how Allah ta’aalah works you see…with all due respect to sheikh for all the knowledge he had imparted to us..I make sincere dua that Allah rewards him for the effort he made into teaching us islam and may Allah give him hidayah..but he conspired in taking our child away and therefore Allah had turned his entire life upside down…his wife and kids left him aswel…

Sheikh got so caught up in wealth that he seemed to have forgotten Allah….Allah save us!….you see haaju and her husband bribed sheikh too…and he got lost in that world…now he charges for all the services he’d given us freely….he goes from town to town offering couples help to solve their problems but he charges such an exorbitant fee for his services…..I understand that he too needs money for himself….but when it comes to deen, our sincerity and doing things for the pleasure of Allah is what comes first…

Allah warns us in the quraan in so many places and the hadith is so clear on the issue of an aalim doing things with sincerity…

“He who does not acquire knowledge with the sole intention of Allah’s pleasure but for worldly gain, will not smell the fragrance of Jannah on Qiyamah.”

Its sad when people who have such a high stage reserved for them, end up falling for worldly and temporary gain….and running after money…

Alhamdulillah sheikhs wife has remarried and is much happier with an aalim of greater stature who has his head screwed on better…and they both are doing great work for the entire community..

2 years after abdurahman was born, Allah then bleSsed us with a baby girl….amatullah…who was unfortunately born down syndrome..

Both these names are most beloved to Allah…these are Allahs favourite names and thus we decided to go against the norm of society and name our children to please Allah…

Having a down syndrome child was a challenge on its own…all I can say is that Allah loves us very much to be putting us through all these many tests after tests…

Nabi(S.A.W) has mentioned that this world is a prison for the believers and a paradise for the unbelievers…

Also this world is a passing shadow and anyone who manoeuvres towards it is ignorant…

Jannah has been covered with trials and tests and jahannam has been adorned with pleasures, excitement and entertainment…

Definitely a mu’mins life is test after test so that we may be cleansed and purified to enter jannah….

  3. Yas says:

A child is not born “Down syndrome”. A child is born with Down syndrome.
Just clarifying because many people often speak in this manner and say “oh shame the child IS Down syndrome”
That is not the only attribute of the child. Yes, the child HAS Down syndrome (a condition) but there are so many other special and remarkable attributes of that child.

    • Maaf for not being eloquent enough…have edited the post…

Also just to let you know, I’m not being insensitive towards the condition by saying it the way I did…I infact have 2 close people who suffer from the condition….I mean to actually highlight the topic at hand…

But jx…and make maaf if I’ve offended you in any way

Ya الله! I knew sheikh was upto no good, may الله save us from using our Deen as a means of our livelihood
الله has granted them so much patience n الحمد لله they have been blessed with two others but each child has a special place in their parents heart n no one can replace it
Can’t wait to hear the response of the whole family to the whole news in front of them

Well well well !!! Life is one big circle. Wat goes around cums around. Its pathetic wen a person who is involvd °̩и da work of دين is so corrupt. Unfortunately, there r lotsa ppl who r very activly involvd °̩и da khidmat of دين , that put on a wholier dan thou attitude °̩и public but r soo disgustingly corrupt , dat they r a BIG disgrace to our beautiful دين. These ppl spoil da name of da different works of دين dat dey involvd °̩и eg. Jamaat … etc. May ﷲ protect us frm bcuming like that آمِيْن

Hmmmmmm…u better start pre-penning those posts, coz with Ramadhan around the corner, most of us r in full throttle with Quran recitation…may Allaah make it easy for us to ALWAYS recite Quran! May He accept our efforts, Aameen! NB: let’s just keep renewing our intentions – that its ONLY for His pleasure.

    • Lol……inshallah…I really do hope our khatams go well in ramadaan…..and may Allah grant us all sincerity in every act of ibaadah that we do…we should rem to always check our intentions in the beginning, middle and at the end of an action inshallah…
